Robots, flying saucers, zombies, Martians, laser guns… they’re all part of the B movies culture of the 1950s. “Teenager from Outer Space” (1959), “Invaders from Mars” (1953) or “Robot Monster” (1953) are just a few examples of this low budget genre which combined, fantasy, horror and science fiction with surrealist plots and witty dialogues.
Pull and Bear took advantage of Bread & Butter, the world’s leading street and urbanwear fashion fair held in Barcelona, to transport its visitors to a surrealist world, created in the windows of the Avenida Portal del Ángel store. Imaginations ran riot in order to create this colourful and artistic setting.
The robots known as ROBOBOY MARTÍNEZ and BOMBER DE LA CIRCUITA are the real stars of the show. Created from scrap metal and designed by the Pull and Bear window dressing team, they were brought to life to spread the most amazing story ever told throughout Barcelona.

Next Friday May 29th we will open our first store in the U.K., and we will do it in one of the biggest shopping centres in Europe, the LIVERPOOL ONE, the size of 28 full-size football pitches. Pull and Bear will be opening its first Milan city centre store situated at 22, Via Torino on 23 May. To mark this event, on 23 and 24 May the store will be offering its customers special discounts, as well as some spectacular sounds and cocktails.
In true Pull and Bear style, celebrations to mark the store’s opening in the fashion capital of the world will run for two days: Friday 23 and Saturday 24 May. All those customers who fill the store to maximum capacity will be welcomed with music, tropical cocktails and 20% discounts off their purchases. Over these two days, acclaimed Rudeejay will be performing both days between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., whilst Gerard Estadella, the face behind the www.icanteachyouhowtodoit.com phenomenon, will be there to photograph visitors to the store, ready to turn his delighted fans into celebrities for a day.
